Although sport is a phenomenon that involves both men and women, it is characterized by profound gender differences: men participate more in sport than women. In particular, women's participation is very low in sports such as football, which in the collective imagination is considered a "male sport" and not suitable for women. The lower participation of women is a consequence of gender roles imposed by the society which inevitably influence the desires, interests and aspirations of boys and girls.

Sport is the most popular recreational activity, for centuries being an important element of society. Entrepreneurship has also been embedded in societies for ages, helping people to grow socially and economically. Europe is investing heavily in Entrepreneurship Education (EE) to sustain economic growth and social inclusion. The EU also recognizes the need to reinvent how entrepreneurship is identified, taught and nurtured. Links between sports & entrepreneurship are manifold, yet seldom recognized and rarely capitalized upon. The two are rarely found together in VET as effectively connected domains with synergic links: hence the need for much-needed entrepreneurial competences due to low EE in sports-oriented disciplines and lack of tailored entrepreneurship training.

The general aim of our project is to plan special basketball training for children aged between 10 and 16 years old. The power and agility developed with plyometric training from an early age should be supported by special preparatory training. These exercises should support the muscles most commonly used in splash-based sports, the ties required for a good balance, and the joints with more mobility. In addition to power, all the related joints, muscles and ligaments should gain a high level of flexibility. In time, the risk of disability will decrease in strengthening and stretching parts. Of course, young athletes' desire to gain success in a short time or the success of the coaches should be slowed down. Young athletes should not be expelled from high-level competitions without their biological age and without being fully prepared physiologically. Especially coaches working in the 10-16 age range are required to receive special sports health training in the branch. This training is vitally important for athletes' health. The specific objective of the action is to share the best practice practices for basketball and protect athletes, especially the youngest, from health and safety hazards by improving training and competition conditions.

According to the results of the latest Eurobarometer survey on sport and physical activity, almost half of respondents (46%) never exercise or play sport and the number of Europeans who never exercise or play sport has increased from 42% to 46%, and this is a continuation of a gradual trend since 2009. Northern Europe is more physically active than the South and East. In particular Austria 40%, Bulgaria 68%, Italy 62% and Croatia 56%. 15% of Europeans do not walk for 10 minutes at a time at all in a weekly period, and 12% sit for more than 8.5 hours per day. Hiking is a physical activity increasing participation in physical exercise by several reasons: it can be done whole year around, it does not require special skills, facilities or expensive equipment, it has health benefits and low risk of injury and walking itself is physical activity to begin and maintain as a past of physically active lifestyle. Hiking offers many health benefits like controlled obesity, gives a cardio workout (stronger workout by using poles) or cardiovascular activity that increase heart rate and fasten breathing by inhaling fresh air, hiking on uneven terrain works muscles while improving balance and stability and increases the amount of energy your body uses by 28% compared to walking on flat ground, 90-minute hike in nature has dramatic effect on the brain and the way we feel. Just one hour of hiking can burn well over 500 calories. Hiking itself is promoting social inclusion by not giving barriers to participation in the physical activity. Participating in hiking, joining mountian clubs or groups are examples of ways in which young people can participate in their community, learn new skills, and socialize beyond their family boundaries.

For athletes in EU member states is still a vivid challenge to combine their sports training, events and competitions with their need to receive an adequate education with a view to developing a sports career-end strategy for their subsequent employment, something informed by the EU Guidelines on Dual Careers of Athletes. With the greater focus on inclusion of people with a disability to take up sports (originally inspired by the hard-won success of the Paralympics) and the improvements to accessibility and the design of sports facilities, there are ever greater numbers of people with disabilities taking up sports, and becoming great athletes in the field. These athletes face the same problem of timetabling their dual pursuits, but they have several additional obstacles to deal with (expand), in the process of training and in the process of getting prepared for employment. Sport is competition but also a field of learning social skills. Sport can be a tool for positive social change, but can also be a dangerous tool of social and political manipulation. For this we must bring the attention of people to the positive social potentials of sport. As in the EU White Paper on Sport, sport has a very strong social role through which in formal and non-formal education, it reinforces Europe's human capital. The values conveyed through sport help develop knowledge, motivation, skills and readiness for personal effort. Sport and Dialogue Against Violence and Discrimination project aims to tackle the problem of violence, discrimination, bullying in and around sporting events, among athletes, sport teams and their supporters. We aim to counter violent behavior through open dialogue, inclusion, tolerance and fair play in sport. The project wants to contribute to the use of sports as a diplomatic tool, one that unites nations and people, regardless of their background, ethnicity or gender. As we have recently seen in the Winter Olympics in Pyeong Chang 2018, North and South Korea marched under the same flag, putting aside their long term/widely known political conflicts. International sporting events have the capacity to unite people from around the world and promote positive attitudes, tolerance, inclusion, friendship and cooperation among nations. They are a reflection of how different ethnicities can compete under the same flag and how cultural diversity plays a more and more important role in each country, in all sports. Fostering the inclusion of disadvantaged people and promoting equal rights and gender balance in sports is a great way to advertise sport and attract a broader public and make them want to engage in physical activities. Finding positive role models among athletes is especially important for children and young people, who look up to them. That is why it is important that people involved in sports come from various backgrounds, ethnic groups, that all sports involve both male and female competitors and that they send the right messages to the public; promote a healthy lifestyle and the development of grassroots sports and events for everyone.

Using supplements for gaining muscle weight impacts the organism in a predominantly negative manner. For example, it can cause depleted testosterone levels, increase risks of cardiovascular and liver diseases. Besides, it can cause dysfunction of the female reproductive system (absence of period), hormonal dysfunctions and excessive hairiness etc. mostly due to lack of professional supervision and somewhat dilettante pursuit of faster track of progress. Appearance and performance enhancing drugs (APEDs) include a wide range of substances that vary from fitness supplements to pharmaceutical grade synthetic hormones, peptides or other drugs. The progression from fitness supplement use to synthetic hormone abuse is poorly understood and differs from the pattern of drug initiation for most other substances of abuse.
