Apply for health promotion training in Poland

“Start now!: Strategic partnership for health promotion among youth” is a project in the frame of “Erasmus+” Programme Key Action 2. The main objective of the project is to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth off all ages. The project will be implemented in the period from March 2017 till December 2018, in three European countries: Bulgaria, Cyprus and Poland. The main objective of the project is to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth off all ages. The project aim is to implement in different youth organizations an innovative methods of non-formal education about health awareness.

The project is being implemented by the Promotion "HOPP" organization from Opole (PL) in partnership with: Bulgarian sports development association from Sofia (BG) and Organization for Social Policy and Action from Nicosia (Cyprus).
Training of youth and health workers and specialists
Period: 09-16.03.2018
Location: Opole, Poland

The aim of the training is to familiarize participants with methods of non-formal education for health. The innovative method is based on modules and is the result of the collaboration of 3 organizations at the international level. We would like to invite young leaders who are interested in the method and want to realize it in their work with youth. Upon completion of the training, the organizations involved in the training will receive a NEC certificate. The task of the organization is to introduce at least one module among the young people it works with and to conduct a short study before and after the training.

Program
Day 1 - Meeting and getting to know the participants
Day 2 - Integration, introduction to informal learning methods;
Day 3 - Methodology of non-formal education, introduction into modules;
Day 4 - Work on Modules;
Day 5 - Module - case study;
Day 6 - Erasmus + information, networking, IT tools in non-formal learning;
Day 7 - Assessment and departure of participants.

Participants:
  • 7 participants from Bulgaria;
  • Youth and health workers and specialists;
  • Motivated to disseminate the accumulated knowledge to the target groups they work with after completing the training;
  • Capable of speaking, writing and understanding English at least at middle level;
  • All participants must be 18 years of age.

Transport, accommodation and food

Hotel Sudety is located close to a beautiful park at the foot of the Opavsky Mountains, the border of the golden mountains of the Jesnik Mountain. The hotel has a restaurant and bowling. The accommodation of the participants will be in double or triple rooms with private bathroom. The participants are provided full meals.

The trip will take place by plane, with airline tickets being purchased by the coordinating organization in Poland. After a flight from Sofia to Katowice / Krakow / Warsaw Airport, transfers to Opole are made by plane.
