BSDA TOOK PART IN FAMILATHLON 2022

On the 3rd of September 2022, for another year "Familathlon" – the largest outdoor holiday dedicated to sports and entertainment, gathered hundreds of citizens and guests of Sofia on the open lawns in South Park 2. The Bulgarian sports development association took an active part in the event, presenting the activities of the ongoing initiatives co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union: BOOST – Boosting Outstanding Omnicompetent Successful Talents and On the way to acceptance – a non-formal youth programme of innovative tolerance awareness tools and together with the partners from Class4YourBack and Church workshop at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Sofia organized sports activities for the attendees.
The visitors of Familathlon 2022 received information about the activities of the BOOST – Boosting Outstanding Omnicompetent Successful Talents project, which is a 24-month strategic partnership, co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, which aims to create new learning and personal development opportunities for young people in Europe by providing interactive educational formats and methods based on the development of transversal skills.
During the event, sets of metaphorical cards on different topics, which are one of the outputs of the On the way to acceptance project, were presented, demonstrated and freely distributed. Children and young people also had the opportunity to take part in a free golf training session, provided by the Bulgarian sports development association.
