#EmpowerSport at Darko Team Baby Cup 4

On November 26th, hundreds of children from across the country gathered in Sofia to participate in the fourth edition of the sprint tournament for children, "Darko Team Baby Cup." Despite the severe meteorological conditions, 370 children aged 4 to 13 participated in the 50 and 60-meter races at the "Festivalna" hall.
All participants received medals, and the fastest in each age category were rewarded with special gifts. This tournament marked the opening of the indoor athletics season, and many young participants experienced the thrill of competition for the first time, taking their initial steps into the world of sports.
The Bulgarian Sports Development Association traditionally supports the initiative, whose fourth edition was held under the motto #EmpowerSport - an initiative of BSDA for capacity building in sports, supported by the EU Erasmus+ program. #EmpowerSport is a sports experts' development program that will remain active until 2027, offering opportunities for exchanging expertise in different countries to acquire new theoretical and practical skills.
