From April 11 to 13, 2025, a meeting of the partners in the international “IOFA – Inclusive Orienteering for All” project took place in Milan, Italy. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The event was attended by representatives of organizations from Croatia, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Hungary, united around the goal of making the sport of Trail Orienteering (Trail-O) accessible to everyone, especially people with disabilities.

Today, April 9, 2025, a pilot Trail O orienteering event took place in the park of the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski." The event is part of the Inclusive Orienteering for All (IOFA) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The initiative was attended by children from schools in the territory of the Student City district (8th School “Vasil Levski” and Professional High School of Telecommunications), who were introduced to the basics of orienteering and the challenges of the Trail O discipline.

From April 8–9, 2025, a training on inclusive orienteering took place in Sofia, organized by the Bulgarian sports development association. The event was part of the international project “IOFA – Inclusive Orienteering for All”, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.

Today, March 16, 2025, a pilot Orienteering Trail O event took place at Mladost Park as part of the Inclusive Orienteering for All (IOFA) project, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Children from the Sunday school of the "Nativity of Christ" church participated in the initiative, where they learned the basics of orienteering and explored the challenges of the Trail O discipline.

Today, March 11, 2025, a pilot Trail O orienteering event took place in Mladost Park, as part of the Inclusive Orienteering for All (IOFA) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The initiative involved students from the 144th Secondary School "Narodni Buditeli," who were introduced to the fundamentals of orienteering and the challenges of the Trail O discipline.

In the period 1-5 November 2024, an international training on Inclusive Orienteering took place in Larnaca, Cyprus, as part of the "IOFA – Inclusive Orienteering for All" project. The event brought together five sport experts in orienteering and adapted sports, from each of the partner countries, in order to develop their skills in Trail Orienteering (Trail-O) and broaden their understanding of inclusive sport practices.

On March 30, 2024, at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski", Bulgarian sports development association, held a focus group under the "IOFA – Inclusive Orienteering for All" project, which aims to make orienteering more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone, particularly individuals with disabilities and sport organizations working with them. The event was attended by coaches and sports professionals working with people with disabilities who are directly involved with the target group, and have the necessary knowledge and skills, as well as years of experience on this topic. The project brings together organisations from Croatia, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Hungary, each with specific knowledge and experience in promoting inclusion and/or orienteering.

The Inclusive Orienteering for All (IOFA) project aims to make the sport of Trail Orienteering more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone, particularly individuals with disabilities and sport operators. The project brings together organizations from Croatia, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Hungary, each with unique expertise in promoting inclusive sports and Trail Orienteering. The first meeting of the team that will implement the initiative took place on the 27th of January 2024 in Madrid, Spain and was attended by Joanna Dochevska and Ivaylo Zdravkov, representatives of the partner organization from Bulgaria – Bulgarian sports development association.
