BSDA took part in a work meeting on youth policy

Bulgarian sports development association (BSDA) took part in a work meeting on youth policy, organized by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) in its role as National Agency for the European Programmes Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. The meeting took place on the 21st of August 2024 in Sofia and was attended by Petar Mladenov – Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Nikolay Spasov, Executive Director of the HRDC, Dimka Radeva – Secretary General of the HRDC, Vesela Mareva – Director of the Youth Policies Directorate at the MYS and Atanas Radev – Chairperson of the National Youth Forum, as well as 50 youth organizations from across the country. Current challenges and issues in the youth sector were discussed.
The event aimed to discuss the opportunities that the European and national youth programmes provide for strengthening the diversity, quality and impact of youth work in Bulgaria.
The discussion took place in three stages, focusing on the implementation of youth policy, European and national youth programmes, and the need for better inter-institutional coordination and interaction. The participation of BSDA in this meeting underlines its commitment to the development of the youth policy and its contribution to creating a better environment for young people in Bulgaria.
