In the period 10-16 of July 2021 in Rijeka, Croatia was held the third module under the Sport Diplomacy Academy project, which aims to bring together 80 sports administrators, coaches and volunteers from 4 countries. The first encountering of the sport diplomats after COVID-19 pandemic was emotional and desired event that was able to gather more than 50 participants from the original project group that are passionate to continue their diplomacy journey and to learn more about the module topics of successful verbal and non-verbal communication, as well the one with public authorities, public speaking and campaign creation, marketing in sports and as well – aspects of sport diplomacy, related to the forthcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo.

In the period 07-10 July 2021, in Rijeka, Croatia, an international training was held, which aimed to introduce basketball coaches, working with age groups 10-16 years, to the possible traumatic conditions that they may encounter during training, and to the actions they need to take in order to prevent future ones.

On 07.07.2021, an online meeting of the "We Shan’t TolerHate" (WSTH) project consortium was held. This project is a 24-month strategic partnership, focused on promoting youth volunteering as an instrument to contrast discrimination against migrants and refugees among the youth categories and within the hosting societies at large, which brought together project partners from Bulgaria, Romania and Italy.

“Eco friendly sport” event was held on 05.07.2021 in Klisura Monastery “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, organized in partnership by the leadership of the monastery Abbess Mother Taisiya, Archimandrite Antim, Sunday School at the Church of the Nativity in Mladost 3, Sofia, the Association of Bulgarians with Asthma, Allergy and COPD (ABBA) and the Bulgarian Sports Development Association. Two of the events developed during the project were held: Greenhouse effect workshop and Water bottle session. Discussions on the topics were held with the children, and the described sessions were adapted for a large group of children.

In the period June 30 to July 3, 2021, in Athens, Greece the first international meeting of “LET’S SWIM BEYOND THE HANDICAPS” project was held. The aim of the project is to include physical disabled kids in social life, to improve quality of their lives, to give them the opportunity to have fun during physical activity and sports with their peers, to make them discover their skills, and to create a different environment where they can feel free to do exercise. The consortium includes partner organizations from Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.

Award of the Erasmus accreditation confirms that the applicant has set up a plan to implement high quality mobility activities as part of a wider effort to develop their organisation. On April 10, 2021, at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" – Gurguliat building, in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures, a dissemination event was held under the "WINTER SPORT IS COMING” project. The event was attended by sports specialists in adapted physical activity and sports, representatives of sports organizations, as well as young people with and without disabilities (physical and intellectual). During the activities the sports curling and floor hockey were presented, which are part of the spectrum of winter sports and the participants had the opportunity to get to know them in detail and enjoy them. The event was organized by the Bulgarian sports development association and the Adapted Physical Activity and Sport Sector of the NSA "Vasil Levski".

#SafeSPORTevent project comes in very challenging times for Europe and the World when the European Commission's main objective is the safety of all Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps participants and far abroad – protection of any further similar challenges that might come in future. #SafeSPORTevent main aim is to protect athletes, especially the youngest, from health and safety hazards by improving training and competition conditions and especially during forcemajor security threads that need to be handled by specific security protocols that at this point of development do not exist in sport sector. The project will support the mobility of volunteers, coaches, managers and staff of non-profit sport organisations for educational purposes and will enrich their skills and knowledge for reaction in safety and security situations. The present research aims to find the state of art of safety and security in sport sector. The collected data will be analyzed by the project team and the aggregated data of the research will be considered during planning the educational activities of #SafeSPORTevent project.
