On 15th of September 2021 the first lecture of the online module of Sport Diplomacy Academy was delivered and it was focused on access to public funds for sports stakeholders, EU Regulatory matters that have an impact on sports and institutional relations based on the huge experience in the field of Valerio Giovannini - Public Affairs Specialist, Executive Office / National Governance & Global Institutions of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Valerio Giovannini is a qualified lawyer from Italy with over 10 years of experience in EU regulatory matters, institutional relations, and public funding. He is a lecturer in the Master Programme organized by the LUISS Business school on EU financial mechanisms and participated as a speaker in a number of high-level conferences on this topic. The online module of #SportDiplomacyAcademy is devoted on working with media and sport for development, originally planned to be implemented in Milan, Italy.

On September 17, 2021, at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski", Sofia, Bulgaria a sports event under the #SPORTolerance project was held. During the event, new practical activities were tested, using sports and physical activity to provoke tolerance and solidarity among the participants. The event was attended by over 25 students and teachers - students under the Erasmus+ program "Student mobility for studies".

On September 15, 2021, Bulgarian sports development association took part in an international online partnership meeting under the ENDURANCE project, which brings together eight partners from seven countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Italy, Slovakia and Spain). The discussion among the partners covered topics such as project management, administration and reporting, guidelines and practical recommendations for updating the status of the online project platform, ensuring, monitoring and evaluating the quality of the intellectual outputs, as well as issues related to dissemination and vision of the project goals and objectives.

In the period 03-06 September 2021 in Brussels, Belgium was held a #SPORTolerance training of sport experts and the educational mobility of sport coaches has contributed actively for the personal and professional development of involved sport experts through educational activities and format for exchange of ideas and good practices. This meeting ensured both acquirement of practical skills and knowledge of the involved coaches and an unique experience to cooperate on international level in order to solve common challenge. The event was attended by representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria and Cyprus that will create a local sport practice in between the international mobilities that will allow participating sport coaches to test the learning activities and to adapt them to the their reality.

In the period 01-08 September 2021, in Castel Volturno, Italy, a mobility under the “Football as a Seed for Gender Equality” project is being held. The objective of the project is to fight discrimination and gender inequality through sport. In order to achieve the project's objectives, associations from Austria, Bulgaria and Italy are organizing a sports competition between 12 football teams mixed both from gender and nationality.

In the period 30-31 August 2021, in Sofia a partnership training on "Collaborate to Innovate: Boosting Innovation in Elite and Grassroots Sport in Europe" was held, which was implemented under a project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the Erasmus + program of the European Union. The event is initiated by the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Maria Gabriel and is implemented in partnership with the Ministries of Sport of Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, France, the Netherlands and Slovenia.

On August 31, 2021 in Primorsko, Bulgaria, Bulgarian sports development association held a training under the "Eco friendly sport" project, organized in partnership with the management of the Ahil Volleyball Club, Sofia. The event was attended by over 40 children and young people who participated in educational and sports activities focused on various aspects of the overall healthy lifestyle (sports, physical activity and healthy nutrition).

In the period 29-30 August 2021, in Primorsko, Bulgaria, a training for coaches, under the IAM project, was held in order to promote integrity to combat match-fixing through training of young athletes - a priority of the Erasmus+ Sport program. The core idea of our project is to fight this international contemporary threat facing sport through education among young athletes in order to preserve transparency, fair-play and respect for others at the earliest level of sport activity. The challenges posed by the manipulation of matches need today a strong cooperation at European and international level in order to protect the future of sport as well as its ethics and integrity.

On August 30, 2021, in Primorsko, Bulgaria, a sports event was held in the framework of the #SPORTolerance project. During the event, new practical activities, created during the first educational activity of the project (Cyprus, July 2021) were tested, using sports and physical activity to provoke tolerance and solidarity among the participants: "In the shoes of others", "The ball of tolerance", "The tower of peace" and "The Road to the Olympic games”. The event was attended by over 50 children and 8 coaches - part of VK "Achilles" (Sofia).

In the period 14.08.2021 – 21.08.2021 an international training course Art of creative thinking ACT has been implemented in Sofia. The event gathered together participants from Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy, Serbia and Slovakia, working with and for the young people in their countries. Art of creative thinking ACT is mobility for youth workers, co-financed on the program Erasmus+ of the European Union (training course), which will work for acquiring one of the most valuable skills of the future – the creative thinking and how it appears and develops in the young people, as it is one of the new skills, which employers search for and it is hard to acquires through the formal education system.

The first meeting of the project "On the Way to Acceptance" was held in Lodz, Poland, on 12.08.2021. The partners from Poland, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey came together to discuss the project and the steps that need to be taken in order to successfully implement the project ideas, presented in detail by the coordinators. The initiative is co-financed by the Erasmus + program of the European Union and will implement activities in the period 30.06.2021 - 29.06.2023.

In the period 05.08.-08.08.2021, in Sofia, the third transnational project meeting under the Hike Together project was held. The aim was to organize and conduct a hike with local volunteers to Cherni Vrah (Black Peak) –2290 m. This initiative contributes to raising awareness of the importance of health benefits of physical activity through walking in nature – as a natural exercise through increased participation in hiking and trekking.

In the period 26.07.2021 – 02.08.2021, in Sassari, Italy, a training course Structured Learning for Awareness in Media/SLAM was held, which aimed at enhancing young people’s awareness and critical thinking on the role of Mass Media as a challenge and precondition for more inclusive societies towards migrants and refugees. The training was attended by four representatives from each partner country – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Bulgaria, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.

In the period July 17-24, 2021 an online training course was held on the project „Happy Bones“. The meeting was attended by Mustafa Altunsoy from Gazi University (Turkey), Prof. Massimo Saketi from Foro Italico University (Italy), Prof. D.p.s. Drossescu Paula from Iasi University (Romania), dr. Mariana Brocateli, dr. Simona De Belonia, as well as selected sports specialists for work with people suffering from osteopenia/osteoporosis. The partners from the project, together with the selected sports specialists, discussed different methods, practices and potentialities for specific physical activity suitable for people with osteoporosis. Specific activities in the project were also discussed, the achievements achieved so far, as well as the future steps, which need to be done for its successful completion.

On 18.07.2021 at the "St. Kozma and Damyan” Monastery, during the first day of the children's camp, organized by the Sunday School at the “Nativity of Christ" Temple, Sofia, Mladost 3, together with the Bulgarian sports development association (BSDA) an eco-trail hike was organized, as part of the Hike Together project. The project aims to promote mountain walks as a method of physical activity that increases participation in physical exercises.
