An International Anti-Doping Conference was held in Opatija, Croatia from 05 to 06 June 2018, which is a final event for the JUST SPORT project. More than 100 representatives from Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden, Portugal and Bulgaria discussed the issue and analyzed the problems that each country encounters in preventing and combating banned substances. Bulgaria was presented by Joanna Dochevska and Ivaylo Zdravkov from Bulgarian sports development association, Dr. Hristina Ivancheva from the National Anti-Doping Center, Prof. Tsvetko Tsvetkov and Grigor Goutev from the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski", Ivan Tilev - professional basketball player and owner of NordGym Fitness Center

People with disabilities and their friends with big hearts ran together to support the sport for all and create an Adapted Youth Career Center. On May 19, the first Bulgarian edition of one of the most successful mini-marathons with a cause in the world took place. At the launch of Run2Gether, people with disabilities and their supporters with big hearts of politics, business, stage, sports, as well as many other sympathetic citizens stood alongside.

Today, May 17, 2018, on the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Sport from 10:30 am in the Zaimov Park in Sofia was held a Children's Sports Day "Health in All Policies", organized in partnership by the Association of Bulgarians suffering from Asthma, Allergy and COPD (ABBA) and the Bulgarian sports development association, with the support of the Department of Athletics at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" and the Sports School "Darko Team". More than 100 children from kindergartens were organized into sections for physical activity under the program of the International Athletics Federation - Children's athletics, which offers a combination of fun and movement. An information section was also created during the event, where citizens received information on chronic respiratory diseases and sports. The event was also supported by the Bulgarian Society of Pulmonary Diseases (BDBB), the Bulgarian Society of Allergology (BDA), the Confederation of Health Protection (CHP) and was held within the framework of the National Information Campaign "Lung Health in All Policies" - 2018.

On May 16, 2018 at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" took place International athletic tournament "New stars". The 40th edition of the international tournament started with a 60-meter start, with the participation of residents living in a Home for adults with mental disabilities in the town of Banya, Karlovo. Fanka Borisova, Aneta Hristova, Todorka Radeva, Pavlina Urdarska and Ana Atanasova were awarded by Prof. Apostol Slavchev, Deputy Rector of NSA "Vasil Levski". The girls also enjoyed the full sports program of the event, and a strong emotion was caused with the meeting with their sport idols in the face of Theresa Marinova and Svetla Dimitrova.

Validation of the European values through sport and combating doping in sport are among the main priorities of the Ministry of Youth and Sports during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. This was announced by the Minister of Youth and Sport - Krasen Kralev, who opened the first meeting of the European Commission's Expert Group "Integrity" (XG INT), held in Varna (23-24 April 2018). The expert group includes representatives of the governments of all member states, as well as representatives of international institutions working in the field of integrity in sport - Interpol, Europol, UN, Sporttardar. According to Krasen Kralev, sport allows the imposition of values for the integration of communities to prevent violence and aggression among adolescents. That is why it is important to ensure fair competition on equal terms in all sports. The minister also said that the use of doping is no less manipulative than the previously agreed outcome for betting profit, because it violates the equality of rivals.

On 25.04.2018 in Sofia was held a sports promotional event under the project Young Ambassadors of Sport Volunteer (YASV) at 109 Hristo Smirnenski School, which was held jointly with the Ahil Sports Club. The small participants got acquainted with interesting topics related to the prevention of school hooliganism. Young Ambassadors of Sport Volunteering project is a joint partnership between four countries and aims to promote volunteering in sport, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle by increasing participation in sport for all. The project provides 3 transnational meetings to present the results achieved at each stage and to provide a quality monitoring process. During international training, a team of qualified trainers will help prepare ambassadors for the organization and promotion of sporting events, motivation for sport and volunteer activities of their peers, and will structure the preparation of events to be held during the European Week of sport - September 2017.

The third international meeting on the Just Sport project was held from 12 to 15 April 2018 in Umeå, Sweden, and gathered the project partners who, within two working days, discussed the activities, activities and initiatives to be undertaken and the preparation at the upcoming international conference which is going to be held in June in Rijeka, Croatia. Ivailo Zdravkov member of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian sports development association, which is a partner of the project from Bulgaria, took part in the meeting.

On 05/04/2018, Bulgarian sports development association organized sports activities for residents in the House for adults with mental disabilities in the town of Banya, Karlovo. The sports session that took place in the home is a final workout for the participation of representatives of the institution in an international sports event, which is going to be held in Berlin, Germany, between 19-22 April 2018. The sports activities were held jointly with the students of the specialty "Adapted Physical Activity and Sports" at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" and the Confederation "Health Protection". Local community members also took part in.

In the period 27 - 30 March, 2018 in Sofia was held the first international meeting on the project "Good Governance in Sport", which is going to be coordinated by the Bulgarian Sports Development Association in a period of 36 months and which aims to provide analyzes and specific tools to improve management processes in the area of sport. The meeting was attended by representatives of the partner organizations of the project from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, which during the meeting, have examined the goals that the project will achieve and the steps for the implementation of the activities which are going to ensure greater transparency of the public face of sports organizations through a methodology for analyzing their websites, training and certification activities, including an online training module, activities to promote values and good governance principles as well as specific instruments for achieving sustainable and transparent governance in the sector.

In the period 09.03.-16.03.2018 in Gulcholazi, Poland, a training course under the project "Start Now! - Strategic partnership for health promotion among youth” under the Erasmus + program Key Activity 2: Strategic Partnerships. Representatives from different youth organizations from three countries - Bulgaria, Cyprus and Poland - took part. During the training course, various non-formal education methods were discussed to promote a healthy lifestyle. An online platform was presented, where all the training modules developed at the project will be available: www.startnow-learning.eu. The training was organized by the HOPP Organization from Opole, Poland. A total of 7 representatives of youth organizations from Bulgaria took part in the training course, including Kalinka Gudarovska, a member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian sports development association.

The International Seminar "Preventing the Use of Doping in Professional and Sport for All through Training and Investigation" took place on 24 and 25 January in Sofia and gathered 80 foreign and 40 local experts in the field of sport. More than 120 representatives of international anti-doping organizations, representatives of EU member states and anti-doping organizations from Europe, as well as representatives of sports federations in Bulgaria attended the first day of the seminar.

On January 12, 2018, the first local event on YSDA project was organized by Nikola Zdravkov, one of the ambassadors of sports development in Bulgaria. Nicola is 16 years old, from Sofia, and organizes for her friends a basketball game where 20 youngsters were sporting and having fun. This is the first of ten consecutive events that each of the four ambassadors in Bulgaria will realize by April 2018. The events in Plovdiv will be organized by Galin Genov and Alexander Iliev, and in Yakorouda by Musalina Dzhaliland youngsters up to 24 years of age from these cities can install the official mobile application of the project and participate in the events.

The main objective of the PASSPORT (Project for Academy Sport SupPORT) project is to promote and support good governance in sport and dual careers of athletes. It addresses the aforementioned objectives by raising the awareness of dual carrier for athletes. Athletes often face challenges to combine their sporting career with education. According to international research, one-third of all participants from sports each year as they consider that sport takes up too much of their time. PASSPORT promote and support dual careers for athletes by setting up a transnational network of partners that will develop a platform for the training of athletes in the sport management, hence contributing to their employability.

Project title: Upload Sport & Mediterranean Diet and Upload sedentary life and fast food /START/. The project intends to highlight the benefits of physical activity, including sports and regular exercise, over a lifetime are huge and include a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease and some types of cancer and diabetes, improving musculoskeletal health and weight control, as well as positive effects on the development of mental health and cognitive processes. Equity through sport for youth development / ETSYD is a project that aims to improve social inclusion, equality, tolerance, fair-play, the reduction of educational difficulties and the lifestyles related to health thorough promoting and enhancing voluntary activities in sport for the young people aging 7-19 years old from 6 the most underprivileged schools from Bucharest, sector 3, Romania, for 18 months. According to the Bucharest municipality – Sector 3, in 2011, the most underprivileged schools and high schools from sector 3 were: the „Mexic” Secondary School (286 pupils), the Secondary School No. 95 (568 pupils), the ”Decebal” Theoretical High school (1240 pupils), the Special Secondary School No. 5 (209 elevi), the „Voievod Neagoe Basarab” Secondary School (319 pupils), the Secondary School No. 86 (760 pupils). The target group (the direct beneficiaries) represents the children and the teachers from these schools while the indirect beneficiaries of the results of the project will be the sport teachers, the parents, the friends of the youngsters involved directly in the project’s activities as well as other education facilities informed through dissemination activities.

Protection of integrity of young sports people, young athletes involved in elite sports may put at risk their health because of increasing pressure to achieve results even at the lowest levels of competitions. Increased requirements of the training process in order to achieve better results carry a risk of disorders of vital functions in the body. Ignorance of the basic principles of the training process - the frequency, intensity and duration, combined with inadequate preparedness of athletes and their objective possibilities cause greater number of pathophysiological changes in the body.
