The event took place on the Central Beach of the International Youth Center, Primorsko, and one of the effects of it was "Plogging" - a fitness trend coming from Sweden that connects jogging and picking up litter from the area where you train and have fun. The best thing about plogging is that in addition to burning more calories than regular jogging, you also clean up the environment around you. The initiative is already being promoted in several events organized by the Bulgarian sports development association, in support of the good practices for a sustainable and clean environment, through sports practice and physical activity. One of the goals of "Eco friendly sport" project is to increase public attention to this problem and we believe that together with the team of Ahil, Sofia, we manage to raise awareness of the implementation of good practices in community care and the nature that we live in.

The initiative was held within the “Eco friendly sport” project, which aims to enable young people to be informed and qualified on issues of sustainability and nature protection in order to be active citizens, promoting these issues in their lives by creating valuable interactions with the sports sector. The activities aim to channel the energy of young people to promote the concept of sport, ecology, well-being and health-improving physical activity. The aim of the project is to promote sports and physical activity, which not only contribute to better health, but also have a positive impact on the environment (2 in 1).
