ParaEMPOWER

From February 25-28, 2025, the city of Zagreb, Croatia, hosted the first international meeting of the ParaEMPOWER project—an initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project aims to enhance the quality of training and preparation for coaches in the field of parasports, as well as to expand the capacity of sports organizations to operate on a transnational and cross-sectoral level.

The ParaEMPOWER project is set to revolutionize parasport coaching by enhancing the quality of training and practices in organizations and institutions that prepare individuals to become parasport coaches. By building the capacity of organizations to work transnationally and across sectors, ParaEMPOWER aims to break down societal barriers and empower individuals with disabilities through the transformative power of sport in Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia.
