Ramps4Champs 2.0

Representatives of Bulgarian sports development association (BSDA) took part in a partner meeting under the Ramps4Champs 2.0 project – an innovative European initiative dedicated to promoting inclusive sport for children and young people with severe physical disabilities. The meeting was held in the period 9–10 February 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The project focuses on BC3, a Paralympic discipline recognized by the International Paralympic Committee in 1984. BC3 provides opportunities for an active sporting life to individuals with cerebral palsy and other severe motor impairments.

In the period 2–3 February 2025, Lisbon hosted the first transnational meeting of the Ramps4Champs 2.0 project, bringing together partners from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Poland, and Portugal. This initiative, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, aims to promote Bocce BC3 as a tool for social inclusion and empowerment of individuals with severe disabilities by improving access to and participation in adaptive sports.
