On 13–14 November 2025, an international training on digital transformation in sport was held in Zagreb, Croatia. The event was organized within the FRIST – Fourth Industrial Revolution in Sport Training project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. Bulgarian sports development association (BSDA) is an official project partner, working to support the digital growth of sports organizations across Europe. The training took place at Algebra Bernays University and brought together participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, and Slovenia.

On April 11, 2025, the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" in Sofia hosted a training on digital transformation in sports. The event was organized by Bulgarian sports development association as part of the FRIST – Digital Transformation for Sport Organisations project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

On the 22nd of January 2025, the first meeting of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Sport Training (FRIST) project took place in Zagreb, Croatia. The event took place at Algebra University College and marked the beginning of joint activities between partners from Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution in Sport Training (FRIST) project is aimed at equipping sport sector professionals with advanced digital skills to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the digital era. The project's overarching goal is to catalyse digital transformation within sport organisations by offering a state-of-the-art training programme. This programme seeks to address several specific objectives: firstly, to close the digital skills gap among sport professionals; secondly, to foster inclusivity by ensuring that the training is accessible to a diverse range of participants; and thirdly, to encourage cross-sector collaboration, leveraging insights and expertise from various fields to enrich the training content and methodology.
