BSDA TOOK PART IN EU HEALTH POLICY PLATFORM ANNUAL MEETING

On 19th of April has been held an EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting - Stakeholders’ Dialogue: Joint Statements, Study results and discussion, which was delivered in hybrid settings in Luxembourg and online. The morning session (9:30-12:30 CET) was dedicated to the presentation of the Joint Statements by its Thematic Network leaders, followed by a roundtable to share the lessons learned and possible improvements for next cycles.
Stakeholder organisations was presented their Joint Statements in four different areas: anti-discrimination & health equity; HIV, Tuberculosis, Viral Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections; Mental Health in All Policies and Navigating Health Inequalities in the EU through Artificial intelligence.
The afternoon session (13:30-16:30 CET) was dedicated to the first results of the study assessing the EU Health Policy Platform. The contractor in charge of the study has presented the process that was followed and the primary findings, after which a break-out session was held where both participants onsite and online provided input and exchange ideas.
On behalf of Bulgarian Sports Development Association, the meeting was attended by Yoanna Dochevska, BSDA Chairperson.
