BSDA held a training course as part of the HER SPORT project

On November 19, 2025, in Sofia, Bulgarian sports development association (BSDA) held a training course during which coaches and sports specialists were introduced to the HER SPORT Handbook and had the opportunity to exchange ideas, good practices and tools for promoting inclusion and accessibility in sports for girls aged 13 – 17.
The HER SPORT project is co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and focuses on improving equal opportunities for participation in sport, particularly for girls from rural and remote areas. The initiative aims to engage 200 girls at risk of dropping out of sports activities and to train 32 coaches and club directors in key topics related to inclusion and equality.
The training course is an important stage in the 24-month implementation of the project and contributes to stronger commitment within the sports community to transforming sport into a tool for social inclusion and an active lifestyle for all young girls.
