The POP-UP project aims to support the training and integration of adults, especially women and people with disabilities, by providing them with the opportunity to participate in innovative training activities related to physical activity and sport. Special emphasis is placed on health, well-being and the development of skills important for employment.
The meeting in Strasbourg was a key milestone in the project where the partners discussed:
• Validation of research reports and project results;
• Presentation of the implemented activities of the work packages;
• Sharing good practices between partners;
• Development of a “Sport and Health” tool and assessment of interdisciplinary skills;
• Planning of future activities and identification of key dates.
The project includes the development of three main outcomes:
• Research report on the appropriate methods for integration through sport;

• A practical guide with “sport sheets” for professionals.
The POP-UP project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and brings together partners from Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Poland and Romania. The initiative will involve 100 professionals and 300 participants, a third of whom are women and people with disabilities.
