Academy for Youth Workers 2.0 Concludes Online

On December 22, 2023, the Bulgarian Sports Development Association participated in an online partnership meeting within the project 'Academy for Youth Workers 2.0'. Participants had the opportunity to discuss the project team's specially designed pilot training program 'Youth Workers Academy 2.0', virtual escape rooms for youth organizations, and their future activities and initiatives.
During the last meeting, the partners discussed the themes included in the virtual rooms:
• Citizen engagement in organization activities – socially responsible volunteer work, solidarity, and the international aspect of youth activities;
• Communication within and outside NGOs;
• New forms of marketing for NGOs;
• Social media and their effectiveness in youth communities;
• ICT tools for working with young people;
• Tools for involving youth in organizational activities;
• Fundraising – social media as a fundraising tool;
• Stakeholder engagement, crowdfunding, fundraising – how the organization can survive?
PROJECT'S MAIN OBJECTIVE:
• To help youth organizations from Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, and Macedonia develop their institutions, focusing on online tools, finances, and marketing;
• Building a specific network of young people and youth institutions in our regions;
• Dissemination of the activities offered by youth organizations among young people and motivating them to join.
PROJECT RESULTS:
• Pilot training program 'Youth Workers Academy 2' and good practices;
• Virtual escape rooms for youth organizations, with cases to be solved.
